For almost a month from May 6 to June 5, 2024, Renault Trucks Algeria organized the #Eco Drive & RoadSafety Caravan in collaboration with its partners Bridgestone and TotalEnergies.
A Training Program Across Several Wilayas
The Caravan travelled through many provinces of the country; it kicked off in the province of Blida and closed at the headquarters of Renault Trucks Algeria in Algiers, passing through Oran, Algiers, Béjaia, Msila, Setif, Tadjenanet, Constantine and Guelma.
This Caravan was marked by the launch of a series of workshops and training courses aimed at improving the skills of semi-trailer drivers for responsible and economical driving.
NUMILOG, as a guest, fully participated in this Caravan and highlighted its commitment to road safety and eco-responsible driving.
A Commitment to Safety and Fuel Economy
The main objective of the “EcoDrive & RoadSafety Caravan” was to train semi-trailer drivers in best driving practices, the latest technologies and economical driving.
This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve road safety and promote more environmentally friendly driving.
Closing of the Event in Algiers
The event culminated in a closing ceremony on June 5th at Renault Trucks Algeria in Chéraga, bringing together the organizing members as well as representatives from Numilog and Béjaïa Logistique.
This day was marked by enriching discussions, testimonials and feedback, highlighting the importance of continuing education and collaboration for safer and more environmentally friendly transport.
