On May 15, 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Bouira to our logistics platform in Bouira. This visit offered the students a unique opportunity to discover our facilities and understand the crucial role of digital technology in a transport and logistics company.
Discovering the Logistics Platform
The students began their visit with a presentation of our logistics platform, where they were able to closely observe the daily operations that ensure the efficiency of our supply chain.
They were able to see how modern technologies are integrated into our processes to optimize the flow of goods, from receiving to shipping.
Exploration of Computer Facilities
The visit continued with an in-depth exploration of our IT facilities.
The students had the opportunity to see how our IT systems support all of our logistics operations.
They discovered the software and technologies we use to manage inventory, track shipments in real time, and ensure data security and integrity.
Exchanges and Enrichment
Throughout the visit, the students were able to interact with our experts and ask questions about the challenges and opportunities related to the use of information technology in the logistics sector. These exchanges allowed the students to enrich their theoretical understanding with concrete examples and feedback from real-world experience.
Closer ties with academic institutions
This initiative aligns with the Cevital Group’s vision of strengthening ties with academic institutions. By opening our doors to students, we support education and promote knowledge sharing between academia and industry.
We firmly believe that such initiatives enrich both parties and contribute to the training of a new generation of well-informed and innovative professionals.
Perspectives and Inspiration
This visit not only allowed the students to discover the digital world within a transport and logistics company, but it also inspired some of them to consider careers in this dynamic field. We hope this experience has given them new perspectives and motivated them to continue exploring the intersections between information technology and logistics.
We warmly thank the students and their teachers for their interest and commitment, and we look forward to continuing to support education and innovation in our regions.
